Updated : Oct 27, 2025

Shah Rukh Khan fans and Prabhas fans have been fighting it out on social media, in trying to prove who is the biggest Superstar in Indian Cinema. While SRK has been at top from past 3 decades, Prabhas got huge recognition after Baahubali. Interestingly, Baahubali is re-releasing as one part on 31st October across world.

Suddenly, SRK's Devdas has joined the party of re-releases on the same date with PVRINOX chain supporting the film release. YRF is releasing it Internationally too. The catch is that the movie is releasing on the same date as Baahubali The Epic, on 31st October.

Well, this seems to be direct clash between two cult films of both the stars. Even if it is planned or unplanned, the social media is going to blast upon how they are performing and who is getting more seats filled in theatres. Well, the release timing could be pointing at a clash but Devdas is releasing for SRK's birthday.  Devdas starring SRK, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixir and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali became one of the cult classics of Modern Indian Cinema.

Trying to fill up a gap that SRK films did not release for two years, Devdas is being re-released as a birthday celebratory present for his fans and movie-goers. On the other hand, Baahubali The Epic is being placed as a ten year anniversary present. It would be great if biggest star debates are set aside to enjoy good films in theatres, again.
